My little baby girl is out of primary school. Luca and I bought two glass vases for her class teachers, and Olivia and I made some little cards with silver glitter glue, with the message, to Katia, "Thank you for all the kisses you gave me", and to Annamaria "Thank you for teaching me how to grow up". Katia said that she and Olivia spent half an hour cuddling and chatting one to one yesterday, and both promise they will come to primary school on her first day in September to wish her luck. And in September 2008, Lorenzo will follow in Olivias footsteps and go into their class, so we will see them again for another year. Next year two girls from Olivias class will be in her new class. Denise and Beatrice.

I first blogged in July 2005. I used another site, and earlier this year opened it to find that it no longer existed, I wrote angry emails that I didnt know all the content would be lost, as I had been writing a diary which I thought would stay online forever. Anyway, having started this new blog with the same name, I accidentally found the old one on Google. I saved all my entries so I can look back on them one day ( there were even photos), and even now some of the stuff I write (llike Lorenzos first words, and Olivia starting infant school) brings back lots of memories that I had almost lost!

I just thought that sometimes life seems totally crazy!

Lorenzo's class performed a shambolic version of "Pinocchia" which no-one really understtod, but involved Lorenzo and two boys dressing up as lions, most of thew other boys were Robin Hood, and there were three fairy princesses. All I remember is LOrenzo grinning througout and trying to keep his headdress on.

Olivia's was much more sophisticated, her class acted out the four emotions, joy, sadness, fear and anger. Olivia was sadness. She wore all brown and had a big tear on her face. She and the other browns wept and waved around their hankies in great despair, then had to say a line each, Olivia loudly and clearly and without bursting into tears said "Sadness is feeling left out". Then came a finale with a song and time for each child to receive their diploma, graduating from infant to primary school. Proud mummy and the teachers were all sobbing as Olivia went on stage to big cheering, I know she has made a big impact in her two litte years.

Photos coming soon..

All my lovely friends who have been to visit some lots of times have had a real glimpse into the whirlwind change of life I chose in 2000!
I blogged a little a year ago, thinking it might be a permanent way of writing a diary, I even paid a blog site to host photos, but when I lost interest so did they, and cancelled evetything. So anyone who does occasionally get emails from me, please keep them, and one day surprise me by reminding me of all my moaning about the drudgery of life as a mother of two...

So I have set a new blog site and hope to be back in touch of some of my long lost friends..
